About Us

At 2Q Ranch Productions, we believe that horsemanship should be fun, welcoming, and full of variety. Co-hosts Melanie Vague and Alexandra McStay bring together years of diverse horse experience—ranging from all-around western and barrel racing to competitive trail and ranch versatility. Having each spent time in different corners of the horse world, we’ve found ranch versatility to be the perfect blend of all the things we love most about riding.

 

For the past two years, we’ve teamed up to host competitive trail challenges, and when we’re not planning events, you’ll often find us out riding together. What started as a friendship built in the saddle has grown into a shared passion for creating events where riders of all levels feel encouraged, supported, and inspired.

Our name, 2Q, is a nod to the Cattle Queens of the past—women cattle owners who helped shape ranching history. Just like those trailblazing women, we aim to carry forward a spirit of grit, community, and inclusivity in everything we do.

Our goal is simple: to provide a fun, nonjudgmental space for horsemen and horsewomen to try something new, gain confidence, and fall in love with ranch versatility the way we have. Whether you’re stepping into the arena for the first time or you’ve been competing for years, we’re here to cheer you on, share a laugh, and help you enjoy the journey with your horse.
